Travelogue Media Mission Statement
“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime.”
At a time when “prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness” seem to prevail, Travelogue Media seeks to expand on this idea put forth by Mark Twain. The above quote needs only one small, but not insignificant change. By replacing the word men with people, we arrive at a more inclusive statement that more accurately reflects what we are striving for. Travelogue Media aims to promote and inspire travel in order to cultivate these “broad, wholesome, and charitable views” of one another.
