Travelogue Podcast Episode 1

Welcome to the first episode of the Travelogue podcast! I’ll introduce the show and talk about some of the things you can expect to see in future episodes. My main focus will be on travel stories from the Caribbean, South America, and Central America. I’m hoping to make this a very listener-driven podcast, so I encourage everyone to email your favorite travel stories, tips, restaurant recommendations etc. to podcast@travelogue.media.

You may also enjoy some of the earlier audio content on the site. An interview with photographer Briana May highlights one of her favorite photographs taken in Cachoeira, Brazil. Another piece introduces “Trini”, who came to St. Thomas from Trinidad at age 7, and has lived on the island most of his life. He talks about some of the changes he’s seen, and how visitors might best enjoy their vacations.

During the coming year, I’ll re-focus some of the site content on language learning resources, particularly French. Eventually I’d like to be able to produce versions of this podcast in both French and English. Wish me luck!
